Female singer Yuka Kharisma who hails from Acheh, Indonesia, and who is the Best New Artiste (Female) at the Anugerah Planet Muzik (APM) in 2016, is now ready to spread her Garuda wings in the Malaysian airwaves with the birth of her debut single entitled ‘Melihatmu Bahagia’.

The recording for Melihatmu Bahagia was done in only a month at the comfort of her own home studio which Yuka shares with her husband who is also responsible for the mixing of the song.

“Melihatmu Bahagia is a dedication and my way of appreciating my beloved mother, it tells the story of a mother’s unconditional love in raising a child. The message that I would like to convey is that we should always remember the sacrifices our mothers have made for us. I don’t know how we’ll be able to repay that, and in addition, we need to appreciate every moment that we have with our mothers.

“My husband and I wanted something more cinematic with its music arrangement so that whoever listens to it, will be touched or get that feeling. Almost every time I go into the studio, at the end of every recording session I would cry because it’s just that emotional to sing it.

“For the music video (MV), it will feature the life of a mother with her struggles on a daily basis, trying to make ends meet for her child. As she gets older, she still provides but with limitations,” she said.

‘Melihatmu Bahagia’ is available for download on iTunes Store and as a caller ringtone from all major telecommunication service providers and could be easily enjoyed through various music-streaming portals such as Apple Music, Spotify, Joox, YouTube Music, KKBox and Deezer, while the official MV is available for viewing on the the Rocketfuel Network YouTube channel.
